These "swings of the gods" are the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. Unlike other products on the market this hammock includes a frame so you don’t even need trees to hang it from. Just assemble the frame, hook on the hammock, and away you go.

This laid back set incorporates a natural coloured hammock and a compact white frame and is perfect for lazy days in the garden. The hammock is made of 100% cotton and has a spreader bar for a wider lying area. It also comes with a matching storage bag. The stable frame is made of powder coated steel tubing and will look great in any garden.

In Brazil, hammocks are still used as beds, as they always have been. This is the reason that they are as wide and comfortable as a bed! Even if you are only going to use your hammock for relaxation, you should still try to adopt the Brazilian way of lying. Arrange the hammock's suspension loops at head height, about 3 metres apart, so that the hammock hangs in a deep arc. This then allows a diagonal lying position, like a real Brazilian, which keeps the back straight and is the secret of being able to lie comfortably in your hammock for hours on end.

Pick, spin, bundle, dye, dry, wind, weave, sew, decorate, pack, monitor. Over a dozen stages are involved in making each high-quality hammock in the traditional way from picked cotton. Making hammocks by hand has a long tradition in Brazil, particularly in the North East of the country, where it is still practised and carefully nurtured to this day.

The hammock in this set is not suitable to be left exposed in wet weather.
