top tips for bed buyers

Top tips for bed buyers

Here are a few handy tips to help you buy a bed. Keep these to hand and you can’t go far wrong:

  1. Is your bed over ten years old?
  2. Do you roll into your partner due to a dip in the mattress?
  3. Do you wake up with back or neck pain?

Answer yes to any one of these questions and you definitely need a new bed.

  • When buying a new bed, spend as much as you can afford. It’s a worthwhile investment - after all you’re going to spend a third of your life there!
  • Give yourself and your partner plenty of space. Get as big a bed as you can.

Make sure you get a bed with the right level of support for you.

  • Make sure you choose a base that you can get into your bedroom!
  • Have you thought about storage under the bed?
  • If you are tempted into using a second hand bed, take a careful look at the previous owner. They’ve deposited kilos of old skin flakes into that mattress you’re about to buy. Not to mention half a litre of sweat every night. Still think it’s worth saving the money?
