Sales Administrator
Applications are invited for a Sales Administrator. You will report to the Customer Services Team Leader during a 6-month trial period leading to permanent role. This role is based at our head office in Leeds.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Processing of customer orders
• Managing supplier returns
• Managing after sales service
• Processing and logging carrier damages
• Assisting Customer Service when required
• Other ad hoc tasks when required
Key Skills and Experience:
• Professional telephone manner
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to turn a negative situation into a positive experience
• Ability to organise and plan work to deadlines
• Experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of Windows Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience of using Internet (eg. Internet Explorer or equivalent)
• Enthusiastic – Focused – Logical – Proactive
• Good problem solver
• Excellent attention to detail
At Furniture 123 the only contact we have with our customers is over the telephone or via email, so it is vital that we always create the right impression. We are therefore looking for someone with the ability to put the above skills and experience into action in our business.
Applicants should be commercially aware, have a good working knowledge of the internet, and good communication skills as the role involves contact with customers, suppliers and other departments in the business. An ability to manage your own time and cope with a varied workload is also important.
Minimum level of education: Degree preferred but not essential
Salary: Dependent on experience
