Lloyd Loom furniture was created by maverick inventor Marshal B. Lloyd in America in the early years of the twentieth century. It was an instant success, and it's easy to see why: not only is it stylish, it's also extremely comfortable and durable. Many pieces from the 1920's and 30's are still in use today, thanks to the unique construction method in which the woven fabric is glued onto steam bent European beech wood. Modern Lloyd Loom furniture uses these tried and tested techniques to produce furniture of the highest quality.
The Burghley sofa has all the hallmarks of classic Lloyd Loom furniture - the simple, uncluttered lines, the smooth woven fabric, the graceful elegance. It will enhance any room you choose to place it in.
