Silentnight Miracoil Memory - Contour Divan and Mattress
Introducing the latest technology from the people at Silentnight Beds. The Contour bed is a fabulous divan set that feels as good as it looks. The beautifully upholstered base comes with a Miracoil™ Memory mattress: this combines the company’s famous Miracoil™ spring system with a 30mm layer of reflex foam and a 30mm top layer of memory foam for the utmost in support and blissful comfort all night long.
Memory foam is quite the revolution in the bed world. Originally developed by NASA to reduce the effects of G-Forces on spacecraft, it adapts to body temperature and moulds perfectly to your shape, so redistributes body weight, reduces pressure points, improves circulation and minimises spinal pressure. The visco-elastic material ‘remembers’ its original shape and will return to it time and time again, so how ever much you move around, you’ll always be properly supported.
The famous Miracoil™ mattresses feature a unique spring system which runs from head to toe, thus distributing weight up and down the mattress instead of across, eliminating ‘roll together’ and ensuring that each partner gets a comfortable and supportive night’s sleep. Extra springs are concentrated in the centre third of the mattress to create a supportive Posture Zone just where the body needs it most.
The midi divan base sits on convenient castors and is available with a platform top, for a firmer foundation, or with sprung edges, for a more cushioned feel. The optional storage drawers are made from beech and have drop fronts for easier opening and more contemporary styling.
