Hi Phil, any flammable or combustible material should be kept at least 1 metre (40 inches) away from the fireplace. Also, maintain a minimum clearance of 2 metres (80 inches) from any window or curtain. Thank you.

Hi Cezar,You should fill the burner up to the marked “max” line, not beyond it. Overfilling is unsafe, while underfilling too much may reduce burn time or affect the flame. Always pour carefully, only when the burner is cool, and use the correct bioethanol fuel.Thanks!

Hi,The Amberglo AGL079 Oval Ceiling Fire features an adjustable drop using its three 50 cm poles, allowing you to set the height as low as 50 cm while ensuring 50 cm safety clearance from combustible materials.Thanks!

Hi, Regarding the AGL079 Oval Ceiling Hanging Bioethanol Fire in Matte Black:
This unit can be hung from a plasterboard ceiling only if the ceiling is properly reinforced. Plasterboard alone is not strong enough to support the weight of the fire; it must be securely fixed into ceiling joists or additional support structures.
For safety reasons, the fire must not be installed less than 50 cm above any furniture or combustible materials. A clearance of only 10 cm is insufficient and could pose a fire hazard.
Please ensure that installation follows these guidelines to guarantee safe and reliable use of the product.
