Hi Sara,The Amara off-white fabric double ottoman bed does not use Velcro in its storage compartment. Instead, it features a spacious compartment with a solid wooden base for dust-free, sturdy storage. Access is facilitated by a gas-lift mechanism, which safely supports the bed base and allows the storage area to be easily opened, supporting a weight of up to 55 kg when raised.Thanks!
